About Us
A journey through landscapes, wildlife, and the moments that shape a life outdoors.
Our Mission
We believe the natural world deserves to be experienced, remembered, and protected.
Inspired by landscapes and wildlife across the Americas, Africa, Nepal and beyond, our photography is created to bring a sense of presence, wonder, and connection into your space.
Each image is an invitation to pause — and to reconnect with the beauty of the world around us.
Summers in Yellowstone — where it all began
INSPIRED BY NATURE
Capturing the quiet beauty of the world, one moment at a time
Early Inspiration
My love for the natural world began as a boy during family vacations to the forests and lakes of northern Wisconsin, Michigan, and New Hampshire. Those early trips gave me a deep appreciation for the quiet beauty of the outdoors — the sound of loons across still water, the smell of pine, and the wonder of discovering something new around every bend in the trail.
A Defining Moment
In my teenage years, family journeys westward to Wyoming opened my eyes to an entirely different kind of landscape. The first time I stood before the grandeur of the Grand Tetons and explored the geothermal wonders and wildlife of Yellowstone, I felt an awe that has never left me. Those experiences planted a lifelong passion for exploring and sharing the magnificence of the natural world.
A Life Outdoors
During college, I was fortunate to work in Yellowstone National Park for four summers, surrounded by untamed beauty and ever-changing light. Later, my wife Julie spent eight summers working there as well — years that deepened our shared connection to the wilderness and its profound sense of peace, prior to her passing from cancer.
Since those early days, and now with my wife Margaret, I’ve climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, explored countless trails throughout Colorado, and returned many times to Africa — each journey reinforcing how vast and breathtaking our world truly is.
Why Photography
Photography became a way to preserve these moments — not just as memories, but as experiences to be shared.
Each image is an invitation to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the natural world — to feel the stillness of a mountain sunrise or the quiet power of wildlife moving through its natural habitat.
My work seeks to capture those moments of wonder — the play of light across a mountain ridge, the stillness before sunrise, or the fleeting movement of wildlife — to inspire others to see the beauty that surrounds us every day.
